Well, I have some updates.  We finally got our new shed.  It'll be used for storage + workshop.  We'll move the smokers to the porch.  We got the corral split into two 12x24 areas separated by a gate over the weekend.  We spent almost eight hours working on that on Saturday.  Talk about tired.  I'm now able to separate them to feed and monitor how much they are each eating.  After they've eaten, I'm opening the gate so that they can be together.  They are very bonded.  Many times over the weekend, I could see them both cooling off in a stall together.  So cute.  I also got a scale to weigh their hay.  I am unsure how the flakes break and I was tired of guessing.  I started them on a product called sand rid.  I'll give it with their food for a week every month.  It helps prevent sand colic, which is something that can happen with donkeys (and horses).  I did meet a few goals I had set for the donkeys, albeit later than I wanted to.  I was, indeed, able to get Lac
